Seasonology #24: be inspired

on responding to the world around you

Today’s card is an invitation to put yourself in the way of new ideas.

When I first wrote the words for this card - be inspired - I unknowingly wrote exactly what I needed to hear. Not unusual for a writer… but returning to my words with a new perspective I can’t share without adding a caveat.

Through the lens of human design, I’m a generator…

(maybe you are too, around 70% of us are, either pure generators, or manifesting generators, either way, this card is about you too, fellow generator)

… and generators are here to be inspired.

We’re here to respond to the world around us, to be lit up, or move on. To be inspired, or keep walking. And when we’re lit up, we have the energy to create and build absolutely anything. So being inspired is a wonderful thing!

But if you’re not a generator (you can find out for free just here) being inspired might not work for you so well. If you’re a manifestor, you’ll get your best ideas ‘out of the blue’ with no external inspiration needed, and if you’re a projector you should wait to be invited into something rather than start something new yourself or join in just because you feel like it.
