Today’s card is an invitation to relax into the not-quite-knowing…
Spring is here at last!
This year I’ve been torn between my excitement for spring and my craving for more delicious winter downtime.
Ever since I came to appreciate winter’s invitation to rest and dream, I’ve wanted her to continue laying her frosty blanket over my days, to gather her dark evenings around me. I see now that this desire comes from too many years of hustle and burnout.
The thing is, as a generator in human design, I’m here to work. And as the daughter of very driven Yorkshire parents, I’m conditioned to work too. So I learned to keep going, at all costs. To say yes to everything going, even when my body was saying a very firm no. The only thing I found in that direction was depression and burnout.
I’m learning, thanks to human design, how to choose my work, to make sure it lights me up. And when it doesn’t, I’m resting. Winter reminds me to rest and I’m grateful.
Of course, the opportunity to rest doesn’t just come once a year. Most of us enjoy a monthly-ish reminder, if we can hear it. And Seasonology isn’t just about the seasons of nature and our cycles, it’s also about lunar cycles and projects.
And projects is why I’m so excited for Spring!
My big project, as you’ll probably know by now, is bringing human design into the heart of my coaching work. I used the high energy of summer to qualify as a human design coach and beta-test my new offer with clients. I spent autumn refining and reflecting on where I was at so far. And I spent winter resting and dreaming about where I could go next… re-thinking my tobrand inspired by Sarah at
and auditing where I’m at with ~ I also joined Claire’s vision board workshop last week to clarify my next few months; as always with a vision board, this is not what I expected!Wow! The promise of Spring, the new shoots just waiting to push through… I’m practically fizzing with energy for new collaborations, new clients and their new transformations. So many ideas, so much potential!
Can I relax into this next few weeks without pushing too hard? That’s what I’m inviting you to do with this week’s Seasonology card…
From Seasonology:
There is a promise in the air… this is the magic of spring, we feel it in the ever-so-slightly lighter mornings, in the tight new buds, in the gentle stirrings of nature… this card invites you to notice the promise in your world right now… can you feel it?
Maybe it’s just a glimmer right now, the merest idea of something new… the kind of idea that flits through your mind and gives you shivers of potential. How can you possibly wait for this to arrive? There may be a tendency to want it all now, but it’s just not ready and neither are you my love… but you will be!
When you can only catch glimpses of what’s to come, do you wear yourself out trying to get clear on the details? or do you simply soak up the feeling that something wonderful is on the way and trust it will reach you in good time.
If you push and hustle you run the risk of turning the glimmer into tarnish instead of allowing it to become gold. When you can relax and enjoy the not-yet-knowing and the quiet promise of good things, you allow it to unfold in just the right way for you.
🌟 Where are you pushing too hard?
⭐️ Are you searching for something that’s not quite visible?

Love this, Sarah. I don’t know if it’s the equinox or the moon but I’m wholeheartedly leaning into that sense of possibility and potential now 🌱
When I saw the word promise I got a little flutter of excitement in my stomach! Not sure what it means, but I am hopeful that a good change or beginning is happening soon!
